Update 243 Phase 2 Preliminary Testing

We are now well into Phase 2 of the Preliminary Testing of Update 243

We have had good feedback from some Partners who are actively testing their advanced scripts against Update 243. To date most if not all issues reported have been addressed.

From this point on, we would like some feedback from Partners as to where they are at with their current exposure to Update 243. It is vital for us to understand before rolling out a Public Release the knowledge Partners now have relating to this.

This information will help us move forward with the roll out.

We would ask that each Partner Organisation answers the following points to assist us.

1. Have you implemented the Client Configuration and accessed your organisation's AWS Demo database (Phase 1)? *
2. New functionality within Update 243
3. Have you upgraded any copies of your client databases to 243 (Phase 2)? *
4. If you answered Yes to 3, how many databases have you upgraded?
5. Have you migrated any of those databases to a Firebird 5 environment? *
6. If you answered Yes to 5, how many databases have you upgraded to FB5?
7. Have you performed testing of custom scripts and datascreens and other modifications you are aware of in those databases? *
8. Are you aware of the various Update 243 platform offerings? *
9. Are you engaging with existing sites and passing on information as it becomes available? *
10. Are you aware of the recent news articles…
11. Will you be offering a Self Hosting - Remote option to your clients? *
12. If you answered Yes to 11, please state what resources you have to support this.
