Ostendo uses the Microsoft Windows Operating System.
Ostendo runs on the Firebird SQL relational database which keeps pace with the latest Microsoft Windows Operating Systems released on the global market.

Most Ostendo customers use these standard network server configurations:

• Client Server
• Terminal Services
• Peer to Peer Workgroup
• Cloud Server for Hosted Services

If you need to change your existing server then make sure you get a quote from your Network Systems Integrator and a Hosted Cloud Services Provider.
Your budget is the constraint, not your business size or number of computer users.
A number of Ostendo customers in Australia and New Zealand are now using Cassini Cloud for their hosted Core Server, ranging from 2 to 40 concurrent users per site.
